Childhood joys

I've spent a great deal of time with my nieces and my nephew this weekend. They are 10, 4, and 2. Here are just a few of the magical moments I got to experience with them...

-being called "Auntie Ruth" consistently
-catching lightning bugs
-making s'mores
-fishing with kiddie poles at Twin Lakes
-three of us wearing pretty dresses to church
-tickling
-slobbery watermelon kisses from Anthony
-Annabelle's fishie faces
-Missy's hugs
-knock, knock jokes
-"round and round the garden" and "this little piggy"
-sidewalk chalk
-twirling in a dress to see it spin
-going to the park
-swimming/jumping in the pool
-giving them airplane rides with my feet
-splashing in the bathtub
-hearing "I love you" from those sweet voices

I am very excited that they will be moving here in a month. However long we overlap living in this house, I will cherish it.

Good to hear from you again--and sounding hopeful and upbeat. I'm adjusting to a new computer (ha...it's not THAT difficult...) and resetting all my bookmarks/favorites, so I'll be hovering again from now on.
