Last night a bunch of us got together at Adam's place for a barbecue. It was a great night for it! Dustin brought a lawn game that he made up, called Pin It. I have a feeling it will be sweeping the nation shortly. It involves a frisbee, cups hanging on two long poles stuck in the ground, and a drink in your hand at all times. The object is to score points by throwing the frisbee at the poles to knock off the cups. If the opposing team catches the flying cup, they steal the point. Two points if the frisbee flies between the two poles without knocking off any cups. It was a lot of fun and we had a great time.
While we were there, Bridget encouraged me to join her on a bike ride this morning. We met at 6:15 and rode to the lake and then around the edge of the lake on the Dam Road for a while. I was hesitant to wake up at 5:30 in order to be ready to go, I am very glad I did. Once we were out there, it felt great and it was a nice start to the day. I have a feeling this will be the first of many morning workouts with Bridget. She wants me to join her in a triathalon at some point in the next year, so I better start getting myself ready!
