...and bears, oh my!

I have yet to see a bear in Summit County, but this picture proves that they are closer to me than I realize. This was taken by a Property Manager, about 1/2 mile from my office. The other day there was a report that a bear was roaming inside the Silver Mill underground garage. That's where I park everyday. The garbage containers they had moved and dumped over are about 20 feet from my office door and where I park! Now, I'm not saying I would have liked to come face-to-face with a hungry bear in an enclosed space like an underground parking garage, but I have to say I'm a little bummed I didn't get to see it. I'm sure that eventually my chance to see one will come. It's probably best that my first bear sighting didn't happen when I potentially could have been between it and it's food!

It's funny you mention this today. Courtney never really believed we had wild turkeys in the neighborhood until she saw one today......although they don't scare me....
