Columbine's View

The purple columbine is the state flower of Colorado. We noticed these two columbines hanging onto the side of a steep hill when Kyle and I took the jeep up a trail off of Peru Creek. I thought they had quite a good view, so Kyle snapped this picture with his camera phone. Incredible, isn't it? It is now my screensaver at work. Although I work in an office with no windows, this photo gives me a gorgeous glimpse of the outside. It's even cooler because it's not just a picture of some place, somewhere, but a place that I've actually been. I was there when the photo was being taken. And, it's only about 10 miles from my house!
